This book is filled with excellent resources for teachers as they set up to equip their students for success in reading and writing in all areas of the curriculum. I especially enjoyed the lesson/unit plan ideas for teaching Cinderella and advertising to the students.
I've been using this book for several semesters, and, find information technology to be one of the virtually consummate textbooks for an entry-level composition course. The readings in the anthology department are practiced, however, getting stale after several semesters of use.
This is a solid textbook and I highly recommend it.

Considering this for my Principles of Composition class.
Used this to teach an academic writing class. Information technology worked well.
Designed for teachers, this publication describes the skills and techniques to write in any educational subject area non only linguistic communication arts.
